As a licensed esthetician with over 13 years of experience, I’ve learned that healthy, radiant skin doesn’t come from expensive treatments—it comes from consistent care, clean ingredients, and a little bit of self-love. Below are my top 5 skincare tips you can use at home to glow from the inside out.

1. Embrace the 4-Step Ritual
Your skin needs more than just a splash of water and a quick moisturizer. True hydration and balance come from these four essential steps:
Cleanse – Use a cream-based cleanser to gently remove dirt, oil, and makeup without stripping your skin. My Apricot & Lavender Cream Cleanser does this beautifully while prepping your skin for deeper hydration.
Tone – A botanical mist like my Tamarind Seed and Rose Toning Mist opens the pores and allows the next steps to truly sink in.
Nourish – This is where a serum comes in. Serums are rich in plant oils like rosehip, jojoba, and squalane—essential for fine lines and deep hydration. Try my Amaranth Seed and Rosehip Facial Serum.
Moisturize – Seal everything in with a rich moisturizer like my Lavender and Cocoa Daily Moisturizer. It blends raw cocoa butter, coconut oil, and tamarind seed extract to deeply hydrate and protect.

2. Care for Your Mental Health
Your skin is your largest organ—but it's also the last to receive nutrients. When you’re stressed or emotionally depleted, your body prioritizes vital organs, leaving your skin dull and dehydrated.
Self-care isn’t optional. It's essential. Regulate your nervous system and bring your body into balance.

3. Exfoliate—But Gently
As we age, our skin’s natural shedding slows down. Regular exfoliation helps maintain that healthy glow—but don’t overdo it! Too much can cause redness and damage.
Opt for gentle, nature-made exfoliants like jojoba beads or bamboo powder. Or schedule a facial with a trusted esthetician who offers dermaplaning—one of my favorite professional treatments.

4. Avoid Synthetic Colors and Fragrances
Many popular skincare products are full of synthetic dyes and fragrances—often disguised as "fragrance" on the label. These can cause irritation, allergies, and long-term harm.
Choose products scented with essential oils or raw botanicals like cocoa butter and coconut oil. Your skin deserves better than neon creams and lab-made watermelon scents.

5. Feed Your Gut, Feed Your Glow
What you eat shows up on your skin. Gut imbalance can lead to eczema, irritation, and breakouts.
Focus on gut-healing foods like:
Ginger
Dark leafy greens
Avocado
Yogurt and fermented foods
Try my favorite gut-loving ginger soup for a skin-loving reset.
When you nourish your skin with intention—from both the inside and the outside—you don’t just glow… you radiate.
✨ With love, Kristal
